Baxi 830 System Boiler & 300L Joule Cylinder in Leiston

The Brief

A 6-bedroom HMO in Leiston was running on an old combi boiler. For a property of that size with that many occupants, a combi cannot hold enough hot water to keep up. The brief was to move it onto a system boiler with a proper stored hot water buffer, and replace the radiators at the same time.

What We Did

• Removed the old combi boiler.
• Installed a Baxi 830 system boiler.
• Fitted a 300 L Joule unvented cylinder to give the property a proper hot water store.
• Replaced the radiators throughout.

The Result

A system boiler and a 300 litre stored cylinder in place of a single combi, sized for a six-bedroom house in multiple occupation, with new radiators throughout. Completed March 2025.
